LTC Provider Committed to Providing Quality Care and Services to Dyer County Residents

Champion Care is pleased to announce that the long-term care provider company has assumed ownership and operations of The Highlands Of Dyersburg Health and Rehabilitation, renaming it The Bay at Dyersburg Health and Rehabilitation Center.

“Champion Care is pleased to have the opportunity to lead this important community resource serving frail older adults in the Dyer County area,” said Mark Ruvel and Izzy Weinberg, Managing Partners of Champion Care. “We thank the staff and leadership of the facility for their commitment to providing quality care to those who need it in the community, and thank the Patients, Residents and their families for the honor of providing care and services to them and their loved ones.”

Started in 2017, Champion Care owns and operates 16 skilled nursing facilities in Wisconsin, Tennessee, and New Jersey. The Mission of Champion Care is to provide quality services to our residents and their families, by assisting and enabling every resident to attain his or her highest potential. As a community of health care providers, Champion believes and strongly encourages our staff to treat every resident with the utmost respect and dignity, as if they were their own parent. As part of this mission, Champion strives to be the best provider and employer in each of its communities.

“Champion Care remains committed to ensuring that this transition moves as smoothly as possible with minimal (if any) impact on our Patients, Residents, and their Families. During this transition and moving forward, our experienced Team will work hard to advance the facility’s overall, health inspection, staffing, and quality measures,” Ruvel and Weinberg said.

In an announcement to Patients, Residents, and their families, Ruvel and Weinberg said, “On behalf of the Champion Care Team of skilled and experienced administrators, clinicians, and caregivers, we are honored to have the opportunity to care for you or your loved one. We know that you call this facility your ‘home’ and our capable and qualified Team of clinicians and caregivers will do everything possible to create a home-like atmosphere for you or your family member.”

In an announcement to the staff, Ruvel and Weinberg said, “Champion Care wants to make this facility a good workplace home. Please know that our entire Team wants to do everything possible to make this transition as smooth as possible for you and your colleagues.”
