Champion Care Purchases Two Wisconsin and Two Tennessee Skilled Nursing Facilities

LTC Provider Committed to Providing Quality Care and Services to WI and TN Residents

Champion Care is pleased to announce that the long-term care provider company has assumed
ownership and operations of four new facilities – two located in Wisconsin and to located
Tennessee – to add to the growing company’s group of communities.

The following facilities are the centers which have been acquired, the new facility names, and
each facility’s website:

  • The Highlands of Memphis by Harborview – The Bay at Highlands Health and Rehabilitation Center – www.bay-highlands.com
  • The Highlands of Dyersburg Health and Rehabilitation – The Bay at Dyersburg Health and Rehabilitation Center – www.bay-dyersburg.com
  • Muskego Health Care Center – The Bay at Muskego Health and Rehabilitation Center – www.bay-muskego.com
  • Green Knolls at Beloit – The Bay at Beloit Health and Rehabilitation Center – www.beloit-health.com

“Champion Care is pleased to have the opportunity to lead these important community resources serving frail older adults in the areas around the communities of Waukesha and Rock Counties in Wisconsin and the City of Memphis and Dyer County in Tennessee,” said Mark Ruvel and Izzy Weinberg, Managing Partners of Champion Care. “We thank the staff and leadership of each of these facilities for their commitment to providing quality care to those who need it in their communities, and thank the Patients, Residents and their families for the honor of providing care and services to them and their loved ones.”

Started in 2017, Champion Care owns and operates 16 skilled nursing facilities and 1 assisted living community in Wisconsin, Tennessee, and New Jersey. The Mission of Champion Care is to provide quality services to our residents and their families, by assisting and enabling every resident to attain his or her highest potential. As a community of health care providers, Champion believes and strongly encourages our staff to treat every resident with the utmost respect and dignity, as if they were their own parent. During this transition and moving forward, our experienced Team will work hard to advance each facility’s overall, health inspection, staffing, and quality measures,” Ruvel and Weinberg said.

In announcements to Patients, Residents, and their families of each facility, Ruvel and Weinberg said, “On behalf of the Champion Care Team of skilled and experienced administrators, clinicians, and caregivers, we are honored to have the opportunity to care for you or your loved one. We know that you call this facility your ‘home’ and our capable and qualified Team of clinicians and caregivers will do everything possible to create a home-like atmosphere for you or your family member.”

In an announcement to the staff of each facility, Ruvel and Weinberg said, “Champion Care wants to make this facility a good workplace home. Please know that our entire Team wants to do everything we can to make this transition as smooth as possible for you and your colleagues.”
